Primary EyeCare - Brentwood.

I hadn't had an eye exam since I was in grade school, so I felt like it was about time to get things checked out. The scheduling process was very simple. The staff was friendly and walked me through every step of the exam. Dr. Channappa thoroughly explained my results and found a prescription that was the best fit for me. I'd highly recommend Primary EyeCare!

I feel like I am in excellent care. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vanhoven and Primary Eye care to everyone. My son referred us here when we moved to Nashville in 2011.

Showed up to pick up repaired glassed during out to lunch window for the office. Had a small window to get and would have had to sit there 45 min to wait for office to reopen but Jeff came out side door just as I was about to leave and I got his attention. He was so nice and willing to help me and took care of me on his lunch break. Thank you Jeff for going the extra mile to take care of me. Really appreciate your dedication.

Dr Van Hoven is top notch!! I’ve seen him for years for my exams and glasses, as well as emergency eye situations. He cares about his patients and takes all the time needed to address any issues or questions. He is the best!!

A tennis ball deflected off my racket and went straight into my eye. It didn’t look good, so I went next door to Primary EyeCare to have it checked. The staff were very nice and friendly and did their best to accommodate me. I was seen by Dr. Van Hoven, who was very friendly and helpful. It seems like a great place to go for walk-in care when needed.

Dr. Engle and the rest of the staff at Primary EyeCare in Brentwood are amazing. Always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They are happy to take the time to answer any questions and make sure you are comfortable with the exams and testing.

I'd been going to America's Best for years but in the last year, I was never happy with my vision. I'd have to take glasses off to talk to someone, but put them on to see far. It was frustrating. A friend recommended Primary EyeCare and I made an appt online. Dr Martin spent so much time with me, explaining why my vision was getting wonky (I'm getting old) and she gave me a few options. After Lasik worked but my eyes had changed over time, I'd asked for contacts at another doc and they told me contacts would be too uncomfortable. Dr Martin suggested them herself and let me try a sample, also suggesting monovision. The ladies who helped with pretesting and choosing glasses/lenses are also stellar. I also liked their selection of frames and found a few options. I'm really happy with my optometrist change and feel I have more knowledge about my eyes and vision than I had before.

Out of all my experiences with the healthcare industry as a professional and a patient I cannot think of a nicer person than Dr. Engle. Absolute champ and knowledgable. Thank for helping me out.

This is an enjoyable place to visit even if you’re going to the doctor :-). The doctors are quite capable and enjoyable people. The people that help you pick out glass frames are good at what they do and the ladies behind the front desk are also top notch!

I have severe case of dry eye and for years I could not wear contacts since I’ve been seeing Dr. pace my dry eyes have improved 99% and as of today I’m wearing contacts my eyes feel great. Love this place all of the doctors are great.
